The French Riviera runs from Saint-Tropez in the west to Menton on the Italian border, and almost every kind of celebration happens along it: villa weddings above Villefranche, yacht hospitality in Monaco, brand dinners in Cannes, family celebrations in the hills behind Nice. What these events share is a high expectation of service and very little tolerance for anything that looks hired.

Every cart travels fully dressed, is set up and styled by our own team, is staffed by a host in Riviera uniform, and is removed cleanly at the end of service. Travel within our standard Riviera service area is included in the quoted price, so what you are quoted is what the experience costs.
Most clients book one experience as a focal point — the champagne cart and wall for arrival, gelato at golden hour, mini pancakes late in the evening — and add a second for a different moment in the timeline. We are happy to advise on what suits the rhythm of your day rather than simply listing what we own.

Destination weddings
Couples who marry on the Riviera usually arrive with guests from several countries and a tightly planned day. An experience cart gives the timeline a gentle punctuation mark — something to move towards after the ceremony, or a reason for guests to leave their seats between courses.
Private villa celebrations
Birthdays, anniversaries and welcome dinners in private villas from Mougins to Cap-Ferrat, where the setting is already beautiful and the addition needs to be quiet, well-dressed and self-sufficient.

Venues and settings
Riviera venues fall into a few recognisable types: cliffside villas with terraced gardens, historic hotels along the promenades, vineyard and olive-grove estates inland, and ports where the event happens on or beside the water. Each imposes different constraints on how a cart arrives and where it can stand.
We survey the setting before the event — usually from your planner's plans and photographs, on site where the access is complicated — and agree the position of the cart, the power situation and the shade in advance. A cart in full afternoon sun with no shade is a service problem, not a styling one, and it is easier to solve a week early than on the day.
Practical considerations
Access and set-up
We generally need around an hour before guests arrive, a route to the service position that does not cross the guest area, and confirmation of any lift, gate width or step count.
Heat
From June to September, shade is the single biggest factor in service quality for gelato, coffee and champagne. We will ask where the sun sits at your service time.
Timing
Standard service is two hours, which suits most drinks receptions. Longer windows are added by the hour rather than assumed.
Travel
Travel within our standard Riviera service area is included. Locations further along the coast or inland are quoted individually, with the figure shown before you commit.

- Do you provide event carts throughout the French Riviera?
- Yes. Our standard service area runs along the coast and into the hills behind it, and travel within that area is included in the quoted price. Events further afield in the South of France, elsewhere in France or in Tuscany are quoted with the travel figure stated separately.
- How far in advance should I book?
- For a June to September Saturday, three to six months is sensible; peak weekends around the Cannes and Monaco event calendar go earlier still. That said, we do take shorter-notice bookings when a cart and host are free, so it is always worth asking.
- Can I combine several experiences at one event?
- Yes, and it is common. Two experiences placed at different points in the timeline works better than two side by side. Booking more than one experience also reduces the total, as multiple carts share the same delivery and set-up.
- Do you handle set-up and removal?
- Always. Delivery, styling, service, cleaning and removal are included in every package. Nothing is left behind for your venue or planner to deal with.
